These Calls to Worship were created to serve alongside the stewardship sermon series, Legacy.

Week One:
We come to take our place in God’s long story;
we did not begin God’s work, nor will we complete it;
yet while we are here, we have a beautiful chapter to write.
We come to worship God, who carries us through this life
and tends our legacy long after we are gone.
Let us worship God!
Week Two:
We come to worship the God of Ruth, Boaz, and Naomi;
ordinary people who left an extraordinary legacy.
God, you work in mysterious ways.
Who knows what foundation you have laid
in what we have done this week alone?
We trust in your plans, and we worship you!
Week Three:
We come to offer what we have:
an hour of time, the beauty of our singing,
the offering from our pockets, the prayers of our hearts.
It never feels like enough.
And yet, may we be remembered this way:
we were people who revered something bigger than ourselves.
Friends, you are enough.
Let us worship God with all we are!
Week Four:
We come to build a legacy
laying stone upon stone
placing our faithful deeds one upon another
until a whole new world is built.
We are only one layer, but we play our part.
Building upon Christ, our Cornerstone and our Strength!
