Week 1: “Entrusted Treasures”

Gracious God, forgive us
when we discount the power of your gifts:
when we let shame creep into our faith
allow cowardice to keep us from action
or begin to believe we have done it all alone.
Rekindle your gift within us:
the gift of the Spirit, which lives in us.
Teach us to treasure you,
and to stand proud in the knowledge
that you trust us with your gifts.Amen.

Week 2: “Treasured Scriptures”

Gracious God, forgive us
when we see your Word
as a dull obligation,
a dry rulebook,
or a dusty artifact.

Teach us to savor your Scriptures;
remind us that we live
by every word that comes from you.

Give us a faith that is unafraid
of change or challenge.

In the name of Christ,
the Word made flesh,
we pray. Amen.

Week 3: “Treasured Generosity”

Gracious God, forgive us
when we do not treat our neighbors
as treasured family in Christ.
Forgive us when we see service
as a chore, and not a calling.

Forgive us when we pass by
the chance to imitate you.
Teach us to do justice,
and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with you.
In the name of Christ,
who came not to be served
but to serve, we pray. Amen.

Week 4: “Treasured Faith”

Gracious God, forgive us
when we stumble in our walk with you:
denying your love,
defying your laws,
dismissing your call.
Give us strength and endurance,
to run with joy,
to cheer each other on,
and not to give up
until we make it home to you. Amen.
